A sequel to Ben Rivers' 2011 film Two Years at Sea, it continues its predecessor's theme of “a life against the current,” or “a life lived in reverse.” Throughout the film, Jake's quiet daily life is depicted, with occasional glimpses of other people intervening in his solitary existence.
